Dogs and Beer!

Today: Dogs AND beer! Hanako enjoys her healed toe with some fetch, while Captain looks on confused. Dad, in the meantime, enjoys some Dead Guy Ale.

Tonight’s beer: Widmer Brothers Drifter pale ale. With a backer of Irish whiskey.

Tonight’s dog: Hanako sacked-out from fetching her ball.

Today’s dog: Captain Thornton McFloofypants! He is the newest addition to our family after our Rilla Woo had to leave us.

Tonight’s beer: Taddy Porter! Amazing creamy mouthfeel, honey-ish aftertaste. Quite light tasting for a dark beer, but still plenty of complexity. Good Beer.

Tonight’s beer: Widmer Brothers special edition Brrrbon. Ale aged in a bourbon cask. $13 for the bottle, but worth every penny. Great beer with amazing bourbon flavour. 9.4% abv.

Today’s Dog?  Hanako!  Frapping in the fresh snow.  Beautiful day, and I love how these shots came out.

Okay folks, this is the guy who is posting this stuff.  Topher.  I am a happily married man living in Oregon.  My wife and I have a corgi mix and a schipperke, thus the dog part of things.  We also, as mentioned, live in Oregon.  Oregon has more craft breweries per capita than anyplace else in the world, thus we are beer snobs, thus the beer part.  This is basically a dumping ground for random stuff I find/see/do/whatever.  Hope you enjoy it!
